Terlaner Sauvignon DOC
100% Sauvignon Blanc
Fresh and aromatic
13,50 €
This Sauvignon grows in Missian in the municipality of Appiano. A loamy and calcareous soil provides the vines with ample minerals. A low yield of 5,000 kg of grapes per hectare and three different harvest dates are the key to its complexity. One third was fermented and aged in barrique barrels, lending the wine its body, complexity and longevity. The remainder matured in stainless steel tanks, preserving its freshness, fragrance and pleasant acidity.

–25%This wine grows in Missian in the municipality of Appiano. A loamy and calcareous soil provides the vines with ample minerals. A low yield of 4,000 kg of grapes per hectare and two different harvest dates are the key to its complexity. Two thirds of the harvest were picked very ripe. One third was harvested one month later as a Spätlese with a very high must weight; it could not ferment completely, which gives the wine its natural residual sugar, great body and density, as well as its complexity. A wine with great potential and good ageing ability.

Mos Maiorum IGT
80% Vernatsch, 12% Lagrein, 8% G'salzne, Edelschwarze
A select wine for the grilling season
54,00 €
Mos Maiorum is Latin and translates freely as 'in the custom of our forefathers'. This is how St. Magdalener was made a century ago. The grapes come from our oldest vineyard, which is over 80 years old and has remained in its original field blend to this day. Some of the varieties have long since fallen into oblivion.
The vines thrive at 370 m above sea level on a steep, rugged south-west-facing slope. The yield is approximately 5,000 kg/ha. After temperature-controlled fermentation, the wine matures in 500-litre wooden barrels for 15 months.

Belleus IGT
55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot, 8% Tempranillo, 9% Syrah
Our own bold house cuvée
20,00 €
This wine is the result of a blend of 5 grape varieties cultivated in two distinct sites. In the early-ripening site of St. Peter near Bolzano grow Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, while in the slightly later-ripening site of Missian in the municipality of Appiano grow Syrah, Merlot and Tempranillo. Both sites lie at approximately 350 m above sea level. The two different microclimates balance the ripening stages so that all 5 varieties can be harvested at the same time and fermented together. The yield is approximately 5,000 kg/ha. The wine was aged in French barrique barrels for 18 months.
